Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper in N4, Job ID J1C5CF

A lovely family in Finsbury Park, London is looking for a live-in nanny-housekeeper to help care for their school-aged child and maintain the cleanliness of their home. This role would suit someone responsible, nurturing, and capable of balancing childcare with household duties. The family has a dog, so it would be a bonus if the nanny-housekeeper is happy to take the dog for occasional walks and feed it when needed. A driver with a full UK driving licence would be advantageous, but is not essential.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm with 3 hours break, approximately 40 hours per week

Accommodation: Large bedroom and bathroom

Duties include:

• Bathing and ensuring proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and overall development
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks suited to the children’s needs
• Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outings such as park visits
• Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of a private household
• Carrying out routine floor care, including sweeping, hoovering, and mopping
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and various surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, baths, and showers
• Performing thorough cleaning and upkeep of the kitchen
• Washing, drying, and organising clothes and household linens
• Managing laundry duties including ironing and folding
• Making beds and changing linens as required
• Cleaning and tidying kitchenware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
