A warm and welcoming family in Haringey, London is seeking a live-in nanny-housekeeper to care for their school-aged child while helping to maintain a clean and well-organised home. They are looking for a responsible, nurturing individual who can confidently balance childcare with household responsibilities.

The family also has a dog, so it would be a plus if the candidate is happy to assist with occasional walks and feeding. While not essential, a driver with a full licence would be a valued bonus. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to become a supportive and trusted part of a family household. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm with 3 hours break, approximately 40 hours per week

Accommodation: Large bedroom and bathroom

Duties include:

• Bathing and ensuring proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and overall development
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks suited to the children’s needs
• Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outings such as park visits
• Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of a private household
• Carrying out routine floor care, including sweeping, hoovering, and mopping
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and various surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, baths, and showers
• Performing thorough cleaning and upkeep of the kitchen
• Washing, drying, and organising clothes and household linens
• Managing laundry duties including ironing and folding
• Making beds and changing linens as required
• Cleaning and tidying kitchenware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
