Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper in Oxford, Job ID J1D7DCR

A wonderful family based in Oxford, Oxfordshire, is looking for a live-in Nanny-Housekeeper to help them care for their two school-aged children and maintain their property.

This position is perfect for someone who is responsible, nurturing, and able to balance childcare and household tasks effectively. A key responsibility includes cooking for the family and preparing meals for the week, with a strong preference for candidates knowledgeable in Southeast Asian cuisine. The family has a dog at home so someone pet-friendly is ideal for this role.

It would be ideal if the nanny is flexible to join them once or twice a week per year when they travel. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a big bonus but is not a must.

Someone who could speak Cantonese, Chinese, Mandarin, or Tagalog would be a bonus, but English-speaking candidates will also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Tuesday-Saturday, split shift (7am-1pm, 4pm-7pm)

Accommodation: Ensuite bedroom

Duties include:

• Maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
• Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
• Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
• Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
• Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
• Making beds and replacing linens as needed
• Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
• Cooking healthy meals for the family

They are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
