Live-In Nanny-Housekeeper in Sydenham, London, Job ID J2267E

A family based in Sydenham Hill, Greater London, is looking for an experienced and versatile Full-Time Live-In Nanny Housekeeper to support their household, care for their daughter, and assist with a new baby due in early December (note: a maternity nurse will handle the newborn for the first 6 weeks).

The ideal candidate must be comfortable living with pets, as the family owns a friendly 6-year-old Bull Terrier. Accommodation is provided in a private 2nd-floor suite featuring a spacious top-floor bedroom and an ensuite shower room.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: 50 to 60 hours per week across 5.5 to 6 days, with flexibility on weekday rest days to accommodate weekend work.

Accommodation: Private 2nd-floor suite with a spacious bedroom and ensuite shower room.

Duties include:

• providing engaging childcare for the 4-year-old daughter and assisting with newborn care after the maternity nurse concludes the initial 6-week support period
• maintaining an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness throughout the 4-bedroom, 1,600 sq ft house
• handling routine housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing surfaces, silverware, and marble
• deep cleaning bathrooms and the kitchen
• managing laundry, ironing, making beds, changing linens, and loading/unloading the dishwasher
• preparing healthy family meals and daily cooking for the children
• living harmoniously with and being comfortable around the family's friendly Bull Terrier
