Live-in Nanny in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, Job ID J1DC85

A lovely family based in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, is seeking a Live-in Nanny to care for their baby on a permanent basis. This is a blended role that covers both overnight monitoring and daytime support, in addition to all general nanny duties. Fluency in Spanish is essential. The family travels to Europe for 3 to 4 weeks each year, so flexibility to accompany them is required. A valid first aid qualification is also essential for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday / Blended arrangement that covers both overnight alertness and daytime support / occasionally over the weekend if needed. 50 to 60 hours per week

Accommodation: Large Ensuite Room

Duties include:

• preparing milk
• organising the child’s daily schedule
• changing nappies
• cleaning and sterilising bottles
• setting up nap routine
• washing and dressing the child
• playing with the child
• taking track of the child’s development and updating the parents
• making sure the child is always safe and happy
• taking to doctor’s appointment and helping the child with bedtime routine
• organising the child’s clothes
• doing laundry and ironing the child’s clothes
• making sure the child’s room is always clean
• doing occasional grocery shopping for the child’s supplies
