Live-in Nanny in NN7

A family based in Northampton seeks a live-in nanny to take good care of their toddler and a baby on the way on a permanent basis. Someone who speaks Spanish would be a bonus however, English-speaking candidates will also be considered. The main role will be caring for the toddler and for the baby after the mum's maternity leave. They particularly need someone experienced, bubbling, active, flexible, and outgoing candidate. All general nanny duties will be expected and some light housekeeping tasks. It would be ideal for this Northampton family if the live-in nanny is happy to cook for them but is not a requirement. Someone who knows how to drive would be advantageous for this role.

A valid first aid qualification is a must for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday from 7 am to 7:00 pm (with flexibility)

Accommodation: Own bedroom and bathroom

Duties include:

• preparing milk
• organising the children’s daily schedule
• changing nappies
• cleaning and sterilising bottles
• setting up nap routine
• washing and dressing the children
• playing with the children
• taking track of the children’s development and updating the parents
• making sure the children are always safe and happy
• taking to doctor’s appointments and helping the children with the bedtime routine
• organising the children’s clothes
• doing laundry and ironing the children’s clothes
• making sure the children’s room is always clean
• doing occasional grocery shopping for the children’s supplies

This Northampton-based family is keen to hire as soon as possible.
