A Live-in Nanny is needed by this wonderful family in Richmond, London, to help them look after their two school-aged children. They seek someone reliable, trustworthy, active, child-focused, proactive, and friendly who can carry out all childcare duties. The role includes school pick-ups and drop-offs, planning engaging activities to keep the children entertained, and offering homework assistance in a calm and supportive environment. The family will provide a car for the nanny, as the schools are a 30-minute drive from the family's house. One of the children has ADHD so someone experienced would be a bonus. A driver who holds a full driving license is required for this role.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am until 7.30pm with additional Tuesdays and Thursdays baby sitting
Accommodation: Own room and ensuite on the top floor
Duties include:
- Provide companionship and attentive care for children who are articulate, worldly, and independent
- Support and encourage the children’s interests and hobbies through active participation and engagement
- Drive the children to and from school or activities
- Sort through their belongings and organising regular clear-outs
- Prepare and organising school materials
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and healthy development of the children at all times
- Support of the parental relationships
- Maintain clean, organised, and tidy bedrooms and play areas for the children
- Offer homework assistance and support the children's educational progress
- Maintain consistent daily routines to promote structure, emotional security, and developmental growth
- Oversee and maintain proper hygiene routines for the children
- Provided care and supervision when the children are unwell
- Wash and sanitise children's dishes and feeding utensils after each use
- Cleaning and sanitising the children's bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Launder, dry, fold, and organise children's clothing and linens regularly
- Make beds and change linens for children's sleeping areas as needed to maintain cleanliness and comfort
