Live In Overseas Nanny

A family currently residing in New York City is looking to hire a full time live in overseas nanny to provide the best childcare support for their adorable toddler. The family travels frequently and extensively so they would need a candidate who will be flexible and ready to go on short notice. Someone who has the right to work in the United States and has a valid first aid qualification is essential to this position.

The family also requires a fluent French speaker to help the child learn the language.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day.

Accommodation: Separate accommodation provided when in Chicago and hotel rooms when in New York or travelling.

Duties include:

• changing nappies and helping with potty/toilet training
• teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
• creating activities and playdates
• preparing and administering healthy food for the little child
• preparing and assisting with bath time and bedtime
• cleaning and washing up after child’s meals
• reporting every activity and issue to the parents
• organising the child’s clothes
• doing laundry and ironing the child’s clothes
• making sure the child’s room is always clean
• doing occasional grocery shopping of the child’s supplies

The family owns two cats so the candidate must be pet friendly. They are looking to hire in July/August.
