Live In Overseas Nanny

A busy family in Washington, New York is looking for a French speaking live in full time nanny to look after their lovely toddler. General nursery duties will be expected as well as light housekeeping and cooking related to the child. Someone who is comfortable and flexible to travel with the family is strongly considered since the family frequently take long and international trips. The family also has two cats but there will be no care required. The right candidate must have the right to work in the US with a valid first aid qualification.

This role is also open for Mandarin speaking candidates. They are looking to hire in December.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 to 45 hours per week

Accommodation: Own bedroom and bathroom

Duties include:

• changing nappies and helping with potty/toilet training
• teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
• creating activities and playdates
• preparing and administering healthy food for the little child
• preparing and assisting with bath time and bedtime
• cleaning and washing up after child’s meals
• reporting every activity and issue to the parents
• organising the child’s clothes
• doing laundry and ironing the child’s clothes
• making sure the child’s room is always clean
• doing occasional grocery shopping of the child’s supplies
