Live In Overseas Nanny

This notable family in Abu Dhabi is looking to hire a full time live in nanny to provide attentive care and homework assistance to their two smart school aged children on a permanent basis. There will be no housekeeping duties and the candidate will have a nanny assistant to carry on with the tasks. The mum is very hands on and wants to remain in charge in disciplining the children. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: 6 days a week, 8 hours per day

Accommodation: Separate bedroom and bathroom (independent area of the villa)

Duties include:

• Supervising the children
• Doing arts and crafts
• Reading books
• Assisting with homework
• Taking children to parks and playgrounds
• Organising sports and other motor-skills activities
• Taking children on special outings to museums and the zoo
• Teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
• Preparing and administering healthy food for the children
• Preparing and assisting with bath time and bedtime
• Reporting every activity and issue to the parents
• Making sure the children’s room is always clean

A fluent English speaker is needed for this role. Someone who speaks an additional European language and has childcare qualifications would be a great bonus. The family is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
