A lovely family based in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, is looking for a full-time nanny to provide long-term care for their baby. The position includes all standard nanny duties, with housekeeping and cooking tasks strictly related to the child. The ideal candidate will be warm, nurturing, and focused on the child’s development, with a genuine passion for supporting early years growth. A driving licence is essential due to the location, and the nanny should be willing to travel with the family for 2 to 3 weeks each year. A valid paediatric first aid certificate is required for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm

Duties include:

• Preparing healthy and varied meals for the child
• Planning and organising the child’s daily routine
• Changing nappies and maintaining proper hygiene
• Cleaning and sterilising bottles and feeding equipment
• Establishing and following a consistent nap schedule
• Washing and dressing the child appropriately
• Engaging the child in interactive play and age-appropriate activities
• Monitoring developmental milestones and regularly updating the parents
• Ensuring the child’s safety, comfort, and happiness at all times
• Organising and maintaining the child’s clothing and wardrobe
• Handling the child’s laundry, including washing and ironing
• Keeping the child’s room clean, tidy, and well-organised
• Occasionally shopping for the child’s essential supplies
