A Spanish-speaking After-school Nanny or Manny is required by a busy family in Wapping, London, to care for their school-aged child. They are seeking a bilingual childcarer, ideally a manny, to support the child in practising Spanish in a natural way. The ideal candidate should be energetic, able to assist with homework, and enthusiastic about engaging the child in a variety of fun activities. The family has a small French Bulldog, so being pet-friendly is important. They would like someone who can be a positive and stable presence in their child’s life. Fluency in both English and Spanish, along with a valid first-aid qualification, is essential for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, approximately 25 hours per week

Duties include:

• Bathing the child and ensuring proper hygiene
• Safeguarding the child’s well-being, safety, and overall development
• Preparing and serving healthy, balanced meals and snacks suited to the child
• Keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean, tidy, and well organised
• Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor trips such as park visits
• Assisting with homework and encouraging the child’s educational progress
• Establishing and maintaining consistent routines to provide structure and support development
