London family hiring a Live-in Housekeeper

This lovely resident of Upham very close to Southampton is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain their home to a high standard of cleanliness in a live-in role. A confident driver is an absolute requirement for this job and they can provide a car for a qualified candidate. They are happy to pay a salary of £750 gross per week. Someone who can cook would be a bonus but is not a must. They own a dog that needs walking so the housekeeper must be pet-friendly. All general housekeeping duties will be expected in this job.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day

Accommodation: Separate accommodation (annex)

Duties include:

• loading the dishwasher/doing the dishes
• dusting furniture
• freshening the rooms
• doing the laundry and ironing of the family
• dusting
• hoovering the carpets and floors
• ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
• polishing floor
• preparing and cooking simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
• running some errands for the family such as doing grocery shopping for the family’s supplies and paying bills
