London family hiring Live in Housekeeper

This family based in the Colchester, Essex area is looking for a reliable live in housekeeper to manage their property in an exceptionally clean environment. The ideal housekeeper would be someone have experience working in a large home and is energetic and proactive. The client based in Essex requires someone who can drive an automatic car or manual car which the family will provide. They have two cats, one dog and two ponies so someone comfortable around animals is essential.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm

Accommodation: Separate accommodation, 2 bed cottage, own kitchen

Duties include:

• loading the dishwasher/doing the dishes
• dusting furniture
• freshening the rooms
• doing the laundry and ironing of the family
• dusting
• hoovering the carpets and floors
• ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
• polishing floor
• preparing and cooking simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
• running some errands for the family such as doing grocery shopping for the family’s supplies and paying bills
