London Housekeeper, live in position

A London-based family is seeking a Housekeeper to help them maintain their property in an exceptionally clean environment in a live-in position. The housekeeper will also be responsible for cooking and preparing basic healthy meals for the whole family, especially during dinner parties. A good team player who can work alongside another housekeeper is required to take charge of housework and running errands as they are hiring a Nanny/PA to look after their two school-aged children. All general housekeeping duties are required to be done by the candidate.

Working hours: 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, ideally to work on weekends and have a day off in a week for 78 hours per week.

Accommodation: Double bedroom with private bathroom in the basement of the house

Duties include:

• loading the dishwasher/doing the dishes
• dusting furniture
• freshening the rooms
• doing the laundry and ironing
• dusting
• hoovering the carpets and floors
• ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
• polishing floor
• preparing and cooking simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
• running some errands for the family such as doing grocery shopping for the family’s supplies and paying bills

The London household wants someone who can start as soon as possible.
