London Nanny-Housekeeper, Job ID J1E49E

A lovely family based in Islington, London, is looking for an extra pair of hands to support the mother in the afternoons with caring for their three school-aged children, while also helping to keep the household clean and well organised. Responsibilities will include assisting with meal preparation and cooking, with duties varying each week depending on the family’s needs. The family has a daily cleaner, so no deep cleaning is required; general maintenance/upkeep of the house only. A driver is required. The family has a cat.

A valid First Aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, from 1pm-7:15pm. Friday, from 1pm-6:15/6:30pm.

Duties include:

• Ironing and laundry duties
• Caring for delicate and important household items
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Cleaning windows, cupboards, surface tops, and kitchens
• Maintaining cleanliness in bedrooms and bathrooms
• Wardrobe management and organisation
• Supporting the children’s learning and development
• Washing and dressing the children
• Engaging the children in play and age-appropriate activities
• Taking the children to activities and appointments
• Ensuring the children are always safe, happy, and well cared for
