Mandarin speaking Afterschool Nanny

A family in Chelsea, London is looking for a Mandarin-speaking Afterschool Nanny to look after their school-aged child. The working hours for this position will be Monday to Thursday, approximately 12 to 15 hours per week with flexibility for additional hours of babysitting and more hours during school holidays. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.

The duties for this position will include

• meal preparation,
• help with homework,
• help the child with learning,
• playing age-appropriate games together
• reading stories to the child
• tidying away child's toys after use
• helping with the evening routine, eg help the child organise bags for the next day
• light laundry of child’s clothes
• occasional grocery shopping

Someone who speaks Mandarin would be ideal to help the child learn how to communicate well using the language. Someone pet-friendly would be ideal as they own a lovely cat. The family would like someone to start as soon as possible.
