Mandarin speaking Governess

A Westminster, London based family is seeking a Full-Time Live-In Mandarin-speaking Governess to look after their lovely school-aged child and a toddler. Own bedroom and shared bathroom with the eldest child will be provided for the right candidate. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position. This is a fully staffed household so no cooking nor cleaning duties required.

Someone who speaks Mandarin is a must for this position. The working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday, full time with flexibility to do Saturday morning hours. The children have private tutors for each subject and the governess should be able to communicate/coordinate with the tutors along with supervising their English homework.

The Live-In Governess will be responsible for

• preparing healthy meals for the children,
• school runs,
• planning and supervising playdates,
• taking them to the park and playgrounds,
• playing active games with them,
• arts and crafts,
• messy play,
• getting the children ready for bed by helping them to brush their teeth and change into their pyjamas
• and reading to them.
