Nanny for part-time position, Job ID J1C42A

A Part-time Nanny is needed by this lovely family based in Canary Wharf, London to help them in looking after their charming toddler and school-aged child. The ideal candidate will foster learning through fun and stimulating activities such as crafts, puzzles, outdoor play, reading, and supporting fine and gross motor skills. The position includes all general nanny duties, along with light housekeeping tasks related to the children such as their laundry, tidying their rooms, and cooking nutritious meals for them. Both parents have demanding careers, so they are looking for someone proactive, dependable, and fully engaged in supporting their children’s development. Big preference for Hindi speakers however they can consider English-speaking candidates.

A valid first-aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, ideally from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, approximately 16 hours per week

Duties include:

• Preparing healthy snacks and meals for a school-aged child
• Managing the child’s daily schedule, including school and activities
• Helping with morning and evening routines (washing, dressing, school prep)
• Supporting homework and school projects in a calm, encouraging way
• Engaging in age-appropriate educational and fun activities
• Updating parents regularly on the child’s development
• Ensuring the child’s safety, happiness, and well-being
• Keeping the child’s environment clean and organised
• Handling the child’s laundry and ironing to keep clothes neat and tidy
