Nanny for school pick-ups, Job ID J1C33F

This lovely family based in Wimbledon is looking for an After-school Nanny to care for their two school-aged children on a permanent basis. A Spanish-speaking nanny would be ideal. The role involves all general nanny duties, including school pick-ups, helping with homework, and engaging the children in age-appropriate activities. The family has a friendly pet cat, so being comfortable around pets is essential. A valid first-aid qualification is required for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, Term time: 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, School Holiday: 8:00 am to 7:00 pm (around 16 weeks).

Duties include:

• Managing school drop-offs and pick-ups, including accompanying the children to after-school activities
• Assisting with homework and promoting the children’s educational progress
• Ensuring the constant safety, well-being, and overall care of young children
• Providing consistent supervision and attentive, nurturing care throughout the day
• Planning and organising age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
• Encouraging reading, creativity, and active play to support both intellectual and physical growth
• Establishing and maintaining structured daily routines for a sense of stability
• Performing light housekeeping related to the children, such as cleaning up after meals and tidying play areas
• Preparing and serving healthy snacks and meals in line with the children’s dietary needs
