A family based in Cobham, Surrey, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their school-aged child. The ideal candidate will be calm and patient, yet energetic enough to keep up with the child, while also managing light housekeeping tasks related to them. As the family has a dog that needs feeding, a pet-friendly nanny is essential. A full driving licence and access to your own car are required for this role. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 8:30 am, Monday to Thursday from 3:00 pm to 7:15 pm, three of the days then 4:15 pm to 7:15 pm for 1 day, total of 19 hours per week

Duties include:

• Bathe the children and maintain proper hygiene standards
• Ensure the children’s safety, well-being, and overall development
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs
• Keep children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Engage the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Encourage early literacy by reading books and storytelling
• Provide homework assistance and support the children’s educational progress
• Establish and maintain consistent daily routines to promote structure and development
• Prepare healthy meals specifically for the child
