Nanny for school runs, Job ID J1961B

This lovely family is looking for a permanent after-school nanny to care for their toddler. The role involves all general nanny duties, including pick-ups from nursery, which is conveniently located in South Kensington near tube stations and several bus stops. The nanny will be responsible for planning activities, preparing meals for the child, and managing her laundry and room. Although they have a cleaner who comes once a week, they seek a proactive nanny who is willing to assist with any additional tasks as needed.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 2 pm -7 pm with flexibility for babysitting

Duties include:

• collecting the child from school
• helping with homework
• preparing meals and snacks
• arranging playdates
• helping with homework
• playing age-appropriate games together
• reading stories to the child
• tidying away their toys after use – child to help
• helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise bags for the next day
• light laundry of child’s clothes
• occasional grocery shopping
