A Full time Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by this lovely family based in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire to help them in caring for their precious baby and two school-aged children while maintaining the cleanliness of their home. They are looking for someone responsible, nurturing, and capable of balancing childcare and housekeeping duties. The nanny-housekeeper will also be expected to cook and prepare healthy meals for the whole family. It would be ideal if the nanny is flexible to join them once or twice a week per year when they travel worldwide. Someone who can drive and holds a full driving license would be a bonus but is not a must.

A valid first aid qualification is essential to this position.

Working hours: Typically 4 days 7:00 am start. 2 days finish at 2:30 pm and the other 2 days finish at 6:30 pm, around 30 to 40 hours per week plus some evenings for babysitting.

Duties include:

• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children’s development
• Dropping off and occasionally collecting the older children from school
• Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles and purees for the infant
• Bathing the children and ensuring proper hygiene
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and overall development of the children
• Keeping bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Engaging the children in play, educational activities, and outdoor outings when needed
• Promoting early literacy through reading
• Providing homework support and encouraging educational progress
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the private residence
• Sweeping, hoovering, and mopping floors
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
• Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area
• Washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothing and linens
• Making beds and changing linens as required
• Washing up and loading/unloading the dishwasher
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for the children and infant
