A Nanny-Housekeeper, 5 days is needed by a lovely family in the Walthamstow area to help with the upkeep of their home whilst helping look after their toddler and baby. Someone who has experience caring for babies would be advantageous. A candidate is expected to cook and prepare simple meals for the family. Someone who can drive is a big bonus but is not a deal-breaker.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 1 pm to 7 pm, approximately 35 hours a week.
Duties include:
- Responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of the children.
- Changing nappies & preparing bottles of milk for babies.
- Washing and bathing children.
- Getting children ready in the morning and then taking them to school.
- Helping children with after-school activities like homework.
- Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
- Tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas.
- Playing with the children and taking them to the park.
- Reading to and playing with the children.
- Implementing daily routines.
- Cooking healthy meals for the family on occasion.
- Maintaining an exceptionally clean environment.
- Vacuuming the carpets.
- Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean washbasins, mirrors, tubs and showers.
- Sort, wash, load and unload laundry.
- Make up beds and change linens.
- Ironing and dry cleaning.
- Wash dishes and clean the kitchen.
- Cooking healthy meals.
A Nanny-Housekeeper, 5 days candidate must have a valid first aid qualification. The family is looking to hire someone as soon as possible.
