A lovely family based in Milton Keynes is looking for a live-in Nanny-Housekeeper to provide dedicated care for their baby due in November and toddler, while maintaining the cleanliness of their property. The role will initially focus more on housekeeping and family cooking, while being flexible to support Mum with childcare when needed. Mum is at home, so the ideal person will be comfortable working alongside her, taking initiative to keep the household running smoothly and offering an extra pair of hands where needed. This position would suit someone reliable, adaptable, and kind, who enjoys both caring for children and maintaining a beautiful, well-organised home, and who is looking to become part of the family for the long term.

A valid first aid qualification is essential to this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 07:00am to 16:00pm

Accommodation: Own room with ensuite bathroom

Duties include:

• Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants
• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
• Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
• Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
• Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
• Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
• Making beds and replacing linens as needed
• Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
