Nanny-Housekeeper for live in position, Job ID J1C0F3

This wonderful family in London is looking for a Live in Nanny-Housekeeper to provide attentive care for their charming toddler and maintain the cleanliness of their property. They seek someone reliable, hands-on, and proactive who can carry out all aspects of childcare and housekeeping, including cooking and preparing healthy meals for the family. Extensive experience in caring for young children is essential for this role. The family has a cat so someone pet-friendly is ideal for this role. It would be a bonus if the nanny-housekeeper is comfortable travelling with the family to Europe for 3 to 4 weeks per year, though this is not essential.

Someone who could speak Cantonese, Chinese or Mandarin languages would be a bonus however they can consider English speakers. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, 55 hours per week

Accommodation: Own bedroom

Duties include:

• Assisting with nappy changes and bottle preparation for the infant
• Bathing and ensuring proper hygiene for the child
• Providing attentive care to support the child’s safety, well-being, and development
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks suited to the child’s needs
• Keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Engaging the child in age-appropriate play, educational activities, and outdoor outings, such as visits to the park
• Supporting early literacy through reading books and interactive storytelling
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to promote structure and emotional security
• Maintaining cleanliness and overall upkeep of the private residence
• Performing routine floor care including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and household surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
• Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
• Washing, drying and organising clothing and linens
• Managing laundry tasks including ironing and folding
• Making beds and replacing linens as needed
• Cleaning and organising dish ware including loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Cooking healthy meals for the family
