A wonderful family in Highgate, London is looking for a Live in Nanny-Housekeeper to help them look after their toddler and two school-aged children as well as maintain their property. The client is seeking someone energetic to be an extra pair of hands, the mum will be home and the children will be in school so the candidate will rarely have to care for all the children on their own. They sometimes need to assist with morning and bedtime routine, cook basic meals for the children, and maintain the home. The nanny-housekeeper must be able to travel with the family a couple of times per year. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a major bonus but is not a must.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm with a break and Saturday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm, approximately 55 hours per week

Accommodation: Separate bedroom and bathroom

Duties include:

• Assisting with nappy changes
• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
• Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
• Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
• Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
• Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
• Making beds and replacing linens as needed
• Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Cooking and prepping healthy meals for the children
