Nanny-Housekeeper, full time live out role, Job ID J19DCB

A Full-time Nanny Housekeeper is needed by a family in Islington, London to help them with their household and look after their charming toddler and school-aged child. They seek a team player who can work alongside another nanny in taking care of their children. The nanny-housekeeper will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the family following recipes if possible. The family has a dog that is required to be walked once per day so someone pet-friendly is ideal for this position. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a bonus for this role.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, approximately 40 hours per week

Duties include:

• Responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of the children
• Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas
• Playing with the children and taking them to the park
• Reading to and playing with the children
• Helping with homework
• Implementing daily routines
• Maintaining a clean family home
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors
• Dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings
• Cleaning wash basins, bathtubs and showers
• Deep cleaning the kitchen
• Washing clothes
• Unloading the laundry and organising the clothes
• Ironing
• Making up the beds and changing the linens
• Washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher
• Running any errands (post office, wrapping presents, dry cleaners etc)
