Nanny-Housekeeper, full-time live-out role, Job ID J1C99B

A lovely family based in South Croydon is looking for a Nanny-Housekeeper to care for their toddler and school-aged child. The role includes all general nanny and housekeeping duties. Fluency in German is essential, and the candidate must be a driver with their own car. The ideal person will genuinely enjoy working with children, be confident in supporting early years development and school readiness, and be happy to help with household tasks. The family values reliability, energy, and a proactive approach. There may be occasional travel involved, although this is yet to be confirmed. A valid paediatric first aid qualification is essential for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:45 am to 09:00 am, then return at 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Duties include:

• Assisting the children with their bath time routine
• Dressing the children and ensuring they are appropriately clothed
• Feeding the children and cleaning up after each meal
• Taking the children to playdates and social activities
• Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities
• Playing with the children and encouraging creativity and learning
• Helping older children with homework and school tasks
• Ensuring the children are always happy, safe, and well cared for
• Changing nappies and supporting the little one with potty/toilet training
• Teaching basic life skills, including hygiene, manners, and independence
• Managing general household tasks and upkeep
• Cooking meals for the family as needed
• Keeping the toilet and bathroom clean and hygienic
• Running errands and handling grocery shopping
• Organising cupboards and regularly changing bed linens
