A family based in Battersea, South West London (Postcode: SW11), is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Part-Time Live-Out House Manager / Housekeeper to maintain their home and support a family of three (including a 7-year-old daughter). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end housekeeping, household management, and healthy meal preparation. Note that the household manages a nut allergy.
A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, between 09:00 and 16:00, totaling 20 to 25 hours per week.
Duties include:
- performing a daily household reset, maintaining a clean and tidy home across all rooms, stairs, and the rooftop terrace, plus keeping the car and cargo bike seating areas clean
- executing daily refreshes of the kitchen and bathrooms, checking and emptying bins, restocking essential supplies, and lighting incense sticks in a designated safe holder
- managing all laundry and linen care, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, putting away clothing, weekly bed linen changes for the family, and monthly cushion washes
- providing light clothing care, including stain checks and minor mending
- handling evening support tasks, such as setting out the child's pyjamas, arranging next-day clothes during term time, and setting up cups and teas for the morning
- preparing the child's daily snack, plus child dinner and lunch box preparation during out-of-school terms
- maintaining the kitchen, including loading and unloading the dishwasher, cleaning the fridge, removing expired food, and executing a Monday-to-Friday bean jars routine
- receiving and unpacking Friday grocery deliveries, managing dry cleaning errands, handling Post Office package returns, and packing/unpacking suitcases according to travel itineraries
- cooking and preparing healthy, nutritious meals for a family of three
- completing a full end-of-shift reset so the home is orderly for the family's evening return
