Nanny-Housekeeper in Manchester, Live-in role, Job ID J1F24B

This lovely family, based in Manchester, is looking for a Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper to maintain their property while taking care of their baby and school-aged child. Someone who speaks Hindi and Punjabi. All general Nanny-Housekeeping duties are required in this role. Someone who knows how to drive would be advantageous for this role. The family is looking for someone comfortable travelling since they would be spending the vacation out of the country. A mother, expecting a second newborn in July, is looking for a full-time nanny-housekeeper. Primary care will be for the mum, cooking, caring and acting as an extension of the family (mothers help) while also running errands where needed. Someone who is looking after their 2 small dogs, walking, and feeding them is required. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Full Time - flexible days and hours

Accommodation: A double room is available in the property, with an en-suite and access to the back garden. (this will change when the family moves homes, TBC)

Duties include:

• Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants.
• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children.
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children.
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children.
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children.
• Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth.
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence.
• Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers.
• Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area.
• Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens.
• Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding.
• Making beds and replacing linens as needed.
• Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher.
