A lovely family based in Notting Hill, London, is seeking an experienced Permanent Live-out Nanny Housekeeper to care for their 9-year-old twin boys. The role is set to begin on 31st August 2026.

The ideal candidate will speak strong English, with Spanish or Hindi being a bonus. The family is looking for someone warm, organised, and confident managing after-school routines while encouraging the boys' independence and development. One of the children has gluten and nut allergies and carries an EpiPen, so the successful candidate must be confident following strict allergy safety procedures and preventing cross-contamination. A driver is not required.

The role focuses primarily on after-school childcare, with responsibility for school collections from Chiswick, homework, reading, activities, evening routines, and bedtime. The family employs a separate morning housekeeper, so housekeeping duties are limited to the children's areas and child-related tasks. Flexibility for occasional overnight stays will be required when the family travels.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, for a total of 30 hours per week, with occasional overnight stays required when the family travels.

Duties include:

  • caring for 9-year-old twin boys
  • collecting the children from school in Chiswick
  • managing their afternoon and evening routines through to bedtime
  • supervising homework and encouraging reading
  • organising engaging activities and outings
  • supporting the boys' independence and development
  • preparing fresh, healthy meals, snacks, and packed lunches
  • planning children's meals and completing food shopping
  • following strict allergy safety procedures and preventing gluten and nut cross-contamination
  • managing children's laundry and ironing
  • changing bed linen and keeping bedrooms and play areas organised
  • organising school belongings and keeping children's items in order
  • tidying and sanitising the kitchen after cooking and mealtimes
  • creating a warm, structured, and nurturing environment

The family is looking for someone who can start on 31st August 2026.
