A Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by this lovely family based in Virginia Water, Surrey, to assist them in looking after their three school-aged children and a toddler while maintaining the cleanliness of their home. They are looking for someone energetic and proactive who can carry out all childcare and housekeeping duties, and someone who wants to become part of the family. The role will be shared care as the mum is very hands-on with the children. The candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the children. They have a full-time housekeeper already, so there will be no deep cleaning required. Someone pet-friendly is ideal for this role since the family has a dog at home. The family travel regularly and requires the nanny-housekeeper to accompany them. A Spanish speaker and a driver would also be a bonus.

A valid first aid qualification is essential to this position.

Working hours: 5 days per week from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, approximately 50 hours per week. Days off in the week, ideally Monday and Tuesday

Accommodation: Staff flat with a separate entrance

Duties include:

• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
• Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
• Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
• Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
• Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
• Making beds and replacing linens as needed
• Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
