Nanny-Housekeeper: live in position, Job ID J1B007

A wonderful family based in Silsoe, Bedford is looking for a Live in Nanny-Housekeeper to assist them in looking after their school-aged twins while maintaining the cleanliness of their home. They need someone reliable and flexible who can carry out all childcare duties. The nanny-housekeeper will also be expected to do meal preparation. Someone pet-friendly is ideal since the family has a dog at home. It would be ideal if the nanny-housekeeper is flexible to join them for 3 to 4 weeks per year when they travel to Italy. They prefer someone who could speak the Italian language.

A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule

Accommodation: En-suite bedroom

Duties include:

• Covering household duties, including laundry, washing up, cleaning, and tidying the house
• Assisting with school and household admin tasks
• Running errands, such as taking clothes to the dry cleaners and food shopping
• Meal preparation
• Managing and organising household supplies
• Ensuring the family’s schedules and activities are well-coordinated
• Helping with organisation of children's activities and playdates
• Assisting with preparing children’s meals and snacks
• Ensuring the home remains organised and functional for daily family life

The family is seeking someone who can start as soon as possible.
