Nanny-Housekeeper, live in

A Kensington-based household is currently seeking a Nanny Housekeeper to provide childcare assistance to their toddler and a baby on the way for a live-in role basis. The nanny housekeeper will take charge of all nursery duties, nursery runs within a 15-minute walk from their home, and organising fun and educational activities. They ideally seek a candidate who is flexible and with a muck-in attitude. They have a cleaner, however, a perfect candidate will be required to cook, do laundry and ironing. The Kensington family is looking for someone who is comfortable travelling since they would be spending their vacation out of the country. Someone who speaks Hindi or Tagalog would be a huge bonus for this role. A valid first aid qualification is essential.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 60 hours a week.

Accommodation: Own bedroom

Duties include:

• assisting with bath time routine
• dressing the children
• cleaning them up after every meal
• preparing various age-appropriate activities
• helping the older child with homework
• making sure they are always happy and safe
• changing nappies
• cleaning and sterilising bottles
• preparing milk for the little one
• helping with the bedtime routine
• keeping the kitchen clean at all times
• mopping the floor
• doing laundry and ironing
• organising their clothes
• washing the dishes
• cooking simple dishes for the family
• maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the family

Someone who is available by the end of October is what they are looking for.
