A lovely family based in Highbury, London, is seeking a Full-time Live-out Nanny-Housekeeper to help care for their pre-school and school-aged children while supporting the smooth running of their home.
The ideal candidate will be smart, well-rounded, organised, and naturally caring. Someone confident with children, strong in housekeeping, and able to manage their time well in a busy family home would be ideal for this role.
The nanny-housekeeper will help with school pick-ups, after-school activities, and general childcare duties. The family is looking for someone who will actively engage with the children, talk with them, and support them in a warm and caring way. Ad-hoc evening babysitting and occasional weekend babysitting opportunities may also be required.
Housekeeping duties will include maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of a tall family home, including floor care, dusting, polishing, bathroom cleaning, kitchen upkeep, laundry, ironing, bed making, linen changes, and dishware organisation. The candidate must be systematic, proactive, and able to manage the physical demands of working in a tall home.
Cooking would be a bonus, but this is not essential. The family also has a dog, so the candidate should be happy to walk the dog as part of the role. A driving licence is important due to the school location, although the family may consider someone without one.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: 4 days per week, possibly 5 days, around 8 to 10 hours per day. Hours are flexible, but the candidate must be able to stay until around 18:00 or 19:00 at least twice per week for school pick-ups and after-school activities. Flexibility for occasional evening babysitting is required.
