Nanny-Housekeeper on a live in basis, Job ID J199A7

This wonderful family in Canterbury, Kent is looking for a Live in Nanny-Housekeeper to help them in caring for their charming toddler and school-aged child whilst maintaining the cleanliness of their home. An ideal candidate will be someone warm, energetic, and patient who can help to keep their home clean and tidy. The candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the family.

A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 50 hours per week

Accommodation: Own double bedroom - ensuite

Duties include:

• Responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of the children
• Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas
• Playing with the children and taking them to the park
• Reading to and playing with the children
• Implementing daily routines
• Planning activities, organising nice daily learning opportunities
• Taking the children to and from school, activities, and various appointments
• Report important school messages to the parents and give feedback about the children's care
• Maintaining a clean family home
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors
• Dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings
• Cleaning wash basins, bathtubs and showers
• Deep cleaning the kitchen
• Washing clothes
• Unloading the laundry and organising the clothes
• Ironing
• Making up the beds and changing the linens
• Washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher
