Nanny-housekeeper, part-time hours

A family in Maida Vale, London is looking for a part time nanny housekeeper to help them care for their school-aged child and a baby due in a couple of weeks. The family is looking for someone energetic, proactive, focused on developmental stages and easygoing. The candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the family.

Someone who could speak Tagalog and Sinhala languages would be a bonus but English speaking candidates would also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is required.

Working hours: Monday to Friday; 3 days from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, 2 days from 8:00 am to 11pm then 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, 30 hours per week

Duties include:

• changing nappies, bottle feeding and sterilising baby bottles
• checking on the baby when sleeping
• engaging with the children and helping with development stages
• cleaning and maintaining a tidy/safe environment for the children
• cooking and preparing variety of meals that meets the family requirements

They are looking for someone who can start in mid-September 2024 but are happy to meet lovely candidates.
