A wonderful family in Islington, London is looking for a Part time Nanny-Housekeeper to help them in looking after their two school-aged children while maintaining the cleanliness of their home. They seek someone flexible and proactive who can carry out all childcare and housekeeping duties. The role includes picking up the children from school and activities, watching over the children, do the grocery shopping, clean the home, and cook meals for the family. The candidate must be comfortable with cooking Italian cuisines for the family nightly and an emphasis on all deep cleaning duties within the home.

Big preference for Italian speakers but they can consider English-speaking candidates. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, total of 30 hours per week

Duties include:

• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
• Running pick ups from school and activities
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
• Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
• Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
• Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
• Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
• Making beds and replacing linens as needed
• Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Cooking healthy meals for the family
