Nanny-Housekeeper, part-time hours, Job ID J1D3BD

A warm and welcoming family in Richmond, London, is seeking a part-time nanny-housekeeper to care for their toddler and two school-aged children, whilst maintaining their home to a high standard. The ideal candidate will be structured and confident with children, yet kind and good-natured. They will work collaboratively with the parents and become a valued member of the household. Punctuality and strong communication are essential, and the family would prefer someone with a good command of English and the ability to express their needs clearly. A confident driver would be ideal, and a valid first aid qualification is essential for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday/Friday, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. For the right person, the family can offer 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Duties include:

• Assisting with the children’s bath time routine
• Dressing the children
• Feeding the children and cleaning up after each meal
• Taking the children to playdates
• Preparing and organising age-appropriate activities
• Engaging in play with the children
• Supporting older children with homework
• Ensuring the children are always happy, safe, and well cared for
• Changing nappies and assisting the youngest child with potty/toilet training
• Teaching general life skills, including basic hygiene and good manners
• Overseeing general household care
• Cooking meals for the family
• Maintaining cleanliness of toilets and bathrooms
• Doing the grocery shopping and running errands
• Organising cupboards and changing bed sheets
