Nanny-Housekeeper to live with family, Job ID J1B58A

A Live in Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by this wonderful family based in Birmingham, West Midlands to assist them in looking after their three school-aged children while maintaining the cleanliness of their property, while the children are at school. This position is perfect for someone who is responsible, nurturing, and able to balance childcare and household tasks effectively. It would be ideal if the nanny-housekeeper is flexible to join them for 3 to 4 weeks per year when they travel. Someone who could speak the Tagalog language is ideal but they can consider English-speaking candidates.

A valid first aid qualification is essential to this position.

Working hours: 6 days per week from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm with 2 to 3 hours break in the day, approximately 55 to 60 hours per week

Accommodation: Own floor with bedroom and bathroom

Duties include:

• engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
• establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
• performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
• cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
• washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
• managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
• making beds and replacing linens as needed
• cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher

The family is seeking someone who can start immediately.
