Nanny-Housekeeper to work for 30 hours per week, Job ID J1C499

A family living in the Peckham, London area is keen to have a part-time nanny-housekeeper to care for their baby and toddler while ensuring their home is kept clean and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, and confident in managing a mix of childcare and housekeeping duties, including school pick-ups, cooking for the children, and deep cleaning tasks.

The family also has a dog, so someone pet-friendly who is happy to assist with occasional walks and feeding would be preferred. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours: Tuesday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Wednesday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Thursday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, approximately 30 hours per week plus babysitting

Duties include:

• Manage household laundry and ironing to a high standard
• Care for delicate fabrics and valuable household items
• Vacuum carpets, clean rugs, and mop all flooring
• Clean and maintain windows, cupboards, surfaces, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms
• Organise wardrobes and manage clothing storage
• Support children's early learning and development
• Assist with washing and dressing the children
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate play and activities
• Change nappies and maintain hygiene routines
• Sterilise and clean baby bottles
• Accompany children to and from nursery and scheduled activities
• Ensure the children’s safety, happiness, and overall well-being

A driver is required for this role, and the candidate should be comfortable driving both automatic and manual vehicles. They are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
