A wonderful family based in the Clapham Junction area is seeking a Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and organised home while providing care for their baby due in June 2025. The family will have a maternity nurse for the first 3 to 6 months, so no childcare will be required during that period. Initially, the role will focus on housekeeping duties, but from around 6 months onwards, the nanny will begin to take on childcare responsibilities for the baby. The successful candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare healthy meals for the family. Fluency in French or Spanish would be a bonus, although English-speaking candidates will also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday for 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule

Duties include:

• Ironing clothes and linens to a high standard
• Managing laundry, including washing, drying, and folding
• Caring for delicate and important household items
• Hoovering and mopping all floor surfaces
• Cleaning windows, cupboards, surface tops, and kitchens
• Maintaining cleanliness in bedrooms and bathrooms
• Wardrobe management and organisation for the family
• Assisting with early learning and development activities
• Washing and dressing the baby with care
• Engaging in interactive play with the baby
• Changing nappies and maintaining hygiene
• Sterilising and cleaning baby bottles
• Taking the child to parks and playgrounds for outdoor play and socialisation
