A welcoming family based in Hereford, Hertfordshire (HR1) is seeking a caring and reliable Nanny to support with the care of their newborn baby.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of childcare experience and speak fluent English. The family is looking for someone warm, nurturing, and confident caring for a newborn, with a good understanding of infant routines, hygiene, feeding, and development.

The nanny will assist with nappy changes and bottle preparation, maintain the baby's daily routine, and provide age-appropriate play and outdoor activities as the child develops. The role also includes light housekeeping related to the child, such as children's laundry and cleaning the kitchen after use.

The family has two small dogs, but no pet care is specified. The successful candidate will have their own private accommodation, including a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, with exact hours to be confirmed.

Duties include:

• caring for a newborn baby
• assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles
• maintaining proper hygiene for the child
• ensuring the child's safety, well-being, and development
• establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines
• preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the child when appropriate
• engaging the child in age-appropriate interactive play
• arranging suitable outdoor activities and outings as the child develops
• keeping the child's bedroom and play areas clean and organised
• managing child-related laundry
• cleaning the kitchen after use
• creating a calm, safe, and nurturing environment
