A family based in Kentish Town, North London, is looking for an experienced and proactive Part-Time Nanny to care for their toddler.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Norwegian, speak Norwegian to the child to encourage natural language exposure, and have at least 2 years of professional childcare experience. The household includes two friendly cats, so candidates must be comfortable around pets. A driver is not required.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: 10 hours per week, split across Sunday and two flexible weekdays (ideally including Friday).

Duties include:

• ensuring the safety, well-being, and developmental growth of the toddler
• speaking Norwegian to the child to develop everyday understanding and language exposure
• engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
• establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support structure and development
• assisting with nappy changes, bath time, and maintaining proper personal hygiene
• providing snacks for the child
• handling child-focused housekeeping duties
• being comfortable around the family's two cats
