A lovely family based in Leatherhead, Surrey, is seeking an After-school Nanny to help care for their charming toddler and school-aged child. The ideal candidate will be calm and patient, yet energetic enough to keep up with the children, while also taking on light housekeeping tasks related to them. As the family has a cat, a pet-friendly nanny would be ideal. Flexibility to travel with the family for 3 to 4 weeks per year would be a great advantage. A driver is essential, with a preference for candidates who have their own car. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: 2 days a week, across Monday to Thursday from 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 11 hours per week

Duties include:

• Collect the children from school
• Ensure the children’s safety, well-being, and overall development
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs
• Keep children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, tidy, and well organised
• Engage the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Encourage early literacy by reading books with the children
• Provide homework assistance and support the children’s educational growth
• Establish and maintain consistent daily routines to promote structure and development
• Carry out light housekeeping tasks related to the children
• Prepare one simple family meal on one evening each week
