An After-school Nanny is needed by a family in Battersea, London to help them look after their school-aged child. The family is looking for someone who is warm, reliable, proactive, experienced, calm and engaging who can provide structured and consistency in the child's daily routine. The client has a baby due in December 2025 though there will be no care required for now. They are looking for a native English speaker who can communicate exclusively in English to support the child's early language development.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm, approximately 20 hours per week

Duties include:

• picking the child up from school
• creating a calm and happy environment in the afternoons
• supporting with homework and/or providing after school activities until parents return from work
• providing well balanced and nutritious meals appropriate to the needs of the child
• eating meals with the child wherever possible
• laundering, ironing and mending the child's clothes
• cleaning and tidying the child's bedroom and playroom
• tidying up, cleaning, and keeping the children's area organised
• preparing healthy and age-appropriate meals and snacks
