A wonderful family in the Balham area is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their two school-aged children. They are looking for someone warm, engaging, and reliable, ideally with a background in education or a strong interest in arts, music, or creative activities. The role will involve general childcare duties along with light housekeeping related to the children. There is a strong preference for Czech speakers; however, English-speaking candidates will also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 4:30 pm to 7:30 or 8 pm

Duties include:

• Collecting the children from school and ensuring their safety on the way home
• Cooking and preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Assisting with washing, dressing, and general personal care routines
• Supervising homework and encouraging a positive learning environment
• Organising and participating in after-school activities to keep the children engaged
• Preparing recreational activities that support both physical and mental development
• Supporting structured yet enjoyable after-school routines
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and tidy environment for the children
• Engaging the children in creative activities such as arts, crafts, and board games
• Taking the children on outings, including trips to local parks and playgrounds

They are looking for someone who can start on the 3rd of September 2025.
