This lovely family based in Eltham, London, is seeking an After-school Nanny to look after their school-aged child. The role includes all general nanny duties, light housekeeping, and preparing well-balanced, nutritious meals. The nanny will also be expected to create a calm and happy environment in the afternoons and share mealtimes with the child whenever possible. A driver with their own car is required, and a valid first-aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Duties include:

• Collecting the child from school and providing attentive care until the parents return from work.
• Creating a calm and happy environment in the afternoons.
• Supporting with homework and/or organising after-school activities.
• Preparing well-balanced, nutritious meals and snacks appropriate to the child’s needs, and eating together wherever possible.
• Laundering, ironing, and mending the child’s clothes.
• Cleaning and tidying the child’s bedroom and playroom, and keeping all children’s areas organised.
