Nanny needed, live-out

This wonderful family in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire is looking for a Full-time Nanny to help them in looking after their charming toddler. The candidate will also be expected to do meal preparation and cooking for the baby. They are looking for someone warm, nurturing, attentive, positive and reliable. Someone with a relevant childcare qualification is advantageous and must be happy to join them for a long term.It would be ideal if the nanny is flexible to join them once or twice a week per year when they travel to Europe. The family own two dogs so someone pet-friendly would be ideal however there would be no care required as they have a dog-walker. A driver who holds a full driving license is required for this role.

Someone who could speak French or Italian languages would be a bonus but English-speaking candidates would also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm, approximately 57.5 hours per week

Duties include:

• changing nappies
• preparing bottles of milk
• bathing
• planning and conducting educational activities and learning appropriate to the baby’s age
• reading and speaking to the baby
• support and continuous care
• creating meal plans and preparing all of the child’s meals
• researching, arranging and attending playdates and activities including upkeep with the baby’s existing weekly activities such as swimming, music lessons and library rhyme time lessons
• playing with the baby and implementing and following age-appropriate nap routines
